The Heaven’s Door range of whiskey have been created by Bob Dylan and Marc Bushala (founder of Angel’s Envy Bourbon), made in a church in Tennessee.
Comprised of a unique blend of three different whiskeys, this double barrel finishing process utilizes hand-toasted, new American oak barrels for a secondary aging worthy of another year’s wait. Double Barrel’s higher proof balances perfectly with the complexity of its flavour and notes of caramel, oak, citrus and spice.
Nose: Honey on rye toast, apricot, pepper, a hint of strawberry.
Palate: Burnt brown sugar, liquorice, apple, peach and lemon.
Finish: A slow build of oak and grilled pineapple.
