The Bollinger Champagne House has created prestigious champagnes with character, distinguished by their elegance and complexity, since 1829. These outstanding wines are the result of rigorous attention to detail, for Bollinger accepts nothing less than excellence. Each and every detail represents a quest for a certain form of perfection.
Bollinger’s Special Cuvée is one of the world’s most successful non-vintage Champagnes. It’s known as ‘The House of Pinot Noir’, crafting 60% of every blend from the difficult-to-grow grape. It’s costly, laborious and difficult – but there’s nothing that tastes quite like this delicious fizz.
On the nose this has beautiful aromatic complexity, ripe fruit and spicy aromas, hints of roasted apples, apple compote and peaches. The palate a subtle combination of structure, length and vivacity; bubbles like velvet; pear, brioche and notes of fresh walnut.
